Carrie Lyman

Carrie Lyman is an art director, designer, illustrator, and artist.
After graduating with her BFA from Syracuse University, she spent a decade working in New York City as an art director + designer for fashion, beauty, and luxury brands before starting her career as a freelance creative.
She has worked across every aspect of brand creative; concepting campaigns for David Yurman, art directing photo shoots for Saks Fifth Avenue, leading UI/UX design for L’Oréal DTC startup Color&Co, and working as an art director + designer for brands like CorePower Yoga, Coach, Marc Jacobs, Bloomingdale’s and more.

Carrie is the founder of Lyman Creative Co., a digital illustration + art licensing brand inspired by the world around you. She's sold thousands of prints, patterns and products through dozens of retailers, from Nordstrom to Urban Outfitters.
In 2025, Carrie decided to return her art practice to paper. She is now working as an oil pastel artist exploring the concepts of feelings through abstraction.
