Carrie Lyman (b. 1986) is an artist based between New York, Mexico City, and London.

Her work focuses on rewiring feelings through art, using oil pastel to explore the illusions, movements, and internal tides of daily life. Initially inspired by seeing how the brain shifts and reconnects as it forms new neural pathways, she draws on those organic forms to shape the gestures in her work. Each piece captures a fleeting moment of clarity, holding a feeling just before it dissolves and giving it shape in abstract form.
